Summary

An urgent problem for industry, especially aviation, is to improve the quality of cast parts and reduce the cost of finished products. This can be achieved with the help of electromagnetic injection molding technology developed in the Department of Magnetic Hydrodynamics PTIMA NAS of Ukraine. This casting method, compared with gravity casting, can improve the filling of the mold and reduce the number of shrinkage defects. The efficiency of the metal is also significantly increased.
